Six STEM Alumni Visit Rosebery to Share Career Insights and Mentor Year 11 Students

Rosebery was honored to welcome back six distinguished alumni from STEM fields last week for a special career mentorship event with Year 11 students.

The alumni, representing careers in engineering, biotechnology, computer science, and environmental science, shared valuable advice, personal stories, and practical tips to help students navigate their future career paths.

During interactive workshops and panel discussions, the returning graduates emphasized the importance of perseverance, curiosity, and continuous learning. They also highlighted how their education at Rosebery laid the groundwork for their professional success.

One of the alumni, Jessica Wong (Class of 2010), now a software engineer at a leading tech firm, encouraged students to embrace challenges and stay adaptable in the fast-evolving STEM landscape. “The skills and mindset you develop now will open doors you can’t even imagine yet,” she said.

Students had the opportunity to ask questions and seek guidance on university choices, internships, and career opportunities, making the day both inspiring and practical.

Rosebery looks forward to continuing this tradition of alumni engagement, fostering strong connections between past and present students and supporting the ambitions of future leaders.
